The Council will convene a semi-annual Directors Meeting at the Hotel Scandic Simonkenttä Simonkatu 9, 00100 Helsinki, Finland April 30, 2011 and sponsor a workshop on “Mapping the Seafloor for Renewable Energy Development” May 2, 2011. From May 3-6, 2011 the CPC sponsored GeoHab (Marine Geological and Biological Habitat Mapping) Conference will be held at the Geological Survey of Finland offices located in the city of Espoo outside of Helsinki, Finland (see www.geohab.org/helsinki.html for more information).
